The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is pleased to announce the opening of the call for applications for travel grants and grants for organizing scientific meetings or conferences. The application time for the grants is 1.1.-31.1.2025.

The FinPharmSci event 2024 was organized on 14.11.2024 in Helsinki. The event gathered over 40 participants to enjoy great presentations and networking with colleagues. This years research grantees, Albert Wuokko awardee, outstanding article awardees, and study price awardees were announced in the seminar.

The 10th BBBB Conference “Today’s science, tomorrow’s healthcare” took place in 12th to 14th of September 2024 in Tartu, Estonia. The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society participated as a collaborator in organizing of the event.

EUFEPS Annual Meeting 2025 will be held in Vienna, Austria, between February 19 and 21, 2025. Finnish Pharmaceutical Society will organize a session about ocular drugs and drug delivery in the meeting. Deadline for abstract submission is on 1.11.2024!

FinPharmSci 2024 is organized at Kaisa House (Fabianinkatu 30, 00014 Helsinki), Kaisa-Sali (meeting room 7062) on Thursday 14th of November. All junior and senior level professionals active in different sectors of pharmaceutical sciences and research in Finland are welcome to the most important networking event and award ceremony of the year in pharmaceutical research and sciences in Finland! Please register latest by 1st of November.

The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is pleased to announce the opening of the call for the most outstanding article award in the pharmaceutical sciences for the original research article published during the period from 2023 to 2024 (article in volumes published in 2023-2024). Applications should be sent to arto.merivaara@uef.fi by October 7th, 2024.

Nominations for the Albert Wuokko Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis 2021-2024 in Pharmaceutics

The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is delighted to announce the call for nominations for the prestigious Albert Wuokko Award for the best doctoral thesis. This biennial award, valued at 4000 euros, is the highest recognition in the pharmaceutical field in Finland and provides a fantastic opportunity for newly graduated PhDs to gain recognition and honor for their outstanding contributions to pharmaceutical sciences.

The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is organizing a pharmaceutical sciences event FinPharmSci 2024 in Helsinki on 14th of November.

EUFEPS annual meeting 2024 was organized in Hungary on 23-25.5 and a PhD student competition was organized as a part of the conference. The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society nominated one of its grantees to participate in the competition.

The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is pleased to announce the opening of the call for applications for research grants. The application period for the grants is 1.5.-31.5.2024 and during the application period, personal grants can be applied for doctoral studies aiming at a PhD degree.
